I *finally* got around to adding your podcasts to my blogroll. So, when you're doing a runcast and talking to yourself, do you get funny looks on the street?
I do get funny looks! Often I get chicken when runners are coming toward me and I will stop talking for a moment. Other times I keep going. I am used to the weird looks, though, because usually I lip-synch to whatever is playing on my ipod and I get looks then too.
I changed my last name. It was weird at first but now (after 7+yrs) it's weird to think I ever had a different name. I don't think I lost any of my identity, and it just seems really natural now. I think it would be weird for Pippin to have to choose between one of our names or have some sort of weird hyphenated name for his last name.
I did have a seriously retarded intern of mine ask me once what my husband's maiden name was. She was very pretty but dumb as a brick.
A Chicago attorney who likes to run and cycle, blogs about her life, while planning a wedding and recording a weekly podcast to take you along for the ride.

So, it sounds like you're not a fan of swimming?
