Where have I been?

I cannot believe that I have not posted since the time when I decided to start running. Oh how things have changed in such a short amount of time. I now consider myself to be a "runner," whatever that means. I will be running the 8k Shamrock Shuffle this weekend. It is a kick-off event for the start of race season in Chicago. Over 22,000 people! I just hope I don't get run over if I slow down too much. And I hope that I can run for the majority of it. It is only 4.9 miles. Which for some reason, to me, sounds alot less than 5 miles. I now understand the concept of $x.99 pricing.
